Hello I am going to install a Floodlight outside of my house and was going to run it off a 13A Fused Spur with a 3A fuse in it, but the only thing near the spur is a socket. Now my question is can I use 1.5mm 16.5A Cable ( http://www.wickes.co.uk/Twin-and-Earth-Cable/invt/156229 ) to join the socket to the fused spur?

The spur will be next to the socket so I will only be using less the 20cm of the cable?

Yes all ok, but T&E cable is not suitable for exposed external use.

Thanks for the reply, can you reccomend a cable about that price that is suitable for both purposes I need?

Is there anything I can get at a nearby store? B&Q or Wickes? There will only be about 10cm of 20/30cm of cable showing outside?
