Want to change washer on kitchen tap, but shroud stuck

Hi,

the bell cover comes off no problem, but the shroud won't budge. Think it has been a long long time since this has been take off.

I've plied the seam with as much oil as I can and left it, but this doesn't seem to work.

What else can I do?

Try pouring boiling water over it to expand it and also a few taps with small piece of wood to shock it free.

Thanks m8. Combination of knocking, slowly working on and off and oil did the trick.
