Having got a handful of quotes to replace our old Ideal Elan 2 and switch to a combi system, I've narrowed it down to two. There's nothing between them on price but one is for a Baxi Platinum Combi 40 HE A and the other is for the Vaillant ecoTEC plus 837.
We live in a 3 bedroom detached house with a bathroom, en suite, kitchen and utility room. We have 10 radiators in total. The house is a standard Persimmon about 20-25 years old and actually gets very cold in the winter downstairs, although this seems mainly down losing heat through the open stair off the lounge/diningroom.
We will have Mira Excel mixer showers in the bathroom and ensuite and would often run these simultaneously. I don't have a measurement but everyone who has been out has said we have good water pressure.
Any advice on which boiler you think is best for us would be really appreciated?
