Does there have to be any special forms for alarm testing to satisfy the house insurance or can just a reciept from the electrician who fitted it be ok.

If your insurance co has instructed you to have a system fitted, then yes, you'll need a certificate from an accredited nacoss / ssaib firm.

If your system has been fitted by the above type alarm company, then you will have this certificate.

If your system has been fitted by a spark then its highly probable the system doesn't comply with the regs, and will not be suitable
