We have a problem with the washing machine, whereby the programme button keeps clicking round. We have checked the manual: we therefore drain the machine, reset it and do a complete new wash. We get one successful wash before it happens again. The button starts to click round when it enters the spin and drain cycle. Can anyone help please

Check the filter first then see how Many flashes there are when it start to flash ie. Flash flash. Rapid flash ,that means 2 flashes

Hi, it's five steady flashes as it clicks round. The flashes then stop until the dial continues about a quarter of the way round, and then it's another five flashes and so on.

Error fo5. Filter blocked or sink spigot. Remove kickstrip and undo filter in right. Hand corner.
 
Hi, we've removed the kickplate and filter each time to drain the water. The only thing that is loose in there is some type of plastic round object/propeller shape with 4 spikes on it. We've been reinserting that to get the machine working. But on the next occassion the machine stops, when we open the filter up, the round object is loose in the filter again. We don't know what this object is or what it does.

If the propeller is loose it's part of the pump u need a new pump. Try eBay about. 20 quid and easy to change 2 screws and two pipes and a plug for power.
