Hi All,

Dont really know much about central heating systems so any advise is much appreciated! I moved into my first house about 3 months ago and this week i have turned the central heating on for the first time, i have set the time programmes on the boiler unit and the central heating kicks in as requested but then after warming up and staying hot for a while the temperature drops and the radiators become nothing but slightly warm. Is there any reason why the system would do this? Is there a possible leak somewhere which is making it lose the heat? I do not currently have any thermostates on the radiators will this effect them?

Thanks

Your rads just need balancing, you should have thermostatic rad valves and installers rely on them to do their job. Mean time get your book out and access the D codes - change D2 to 10.
