I've having some work done on my roof. There seems to be quite a lot of moss on the tile joints. Should I clear this moss off? Is there any problems if I leave it on?

Thanks

depends on the pitch of the roof . I`ve got a low pitch, and was advised by a roofer I trust to clean the moss out between the tiles as it slows the water even more on a problem roof - Problem is a near flat Pagoda style near the fascia - if you see what I mean . Decent pitch and it shouldn`t be a problem . In my opinion ;)

Biggest problem caused by moss on roof is it choking up your gutters.

Moss holds water water and frost destroy every thing. Clean the moss off and let the roof breath and dry quicker.

Copper ridging does not prevent moss growth, dont waste money on that.

And moss remover is also a waste of time and money.

Don't pressure washer the roof, if you can get to it then just brush it off with a broom. Then clear out the guttering.
