Hi All
My mum has just had a wall knocked through from the living room to the dining room, there are gas fires in both rooms each with its own chimney and a back boiler in the living room, We are getting the gas fire removed
from the dining room and the chimney blocked off. 2 Qustions :-
1. Is it ok to still use the back boiler until the dining room fireplace is blocked ff ?
2. will the dining room fireplace need to be vented ?

1. Yes
2. Yes

it would be a good idea to have the BBU service and the ventilation assessed, a spillage and flow test completed after any such alteration ;)
