moving the washing machine

We want to install a washing machine in our utility room (just bought house - didn't plan it that way) which means it will be on the opposite side of the exterior kitchen door to the drain!

How do you lead the waste pipe out of the wall and past the kichen door without loosing preasure ... Im presuming you can't run the pipe "around" the door and over the other side ...

Would I need to take it under the paving slabs outside?

Best to post pics or get a plumber round to advise as its too difficult from what you have told us to provide the right answer at this stage.

Suffice to say for now that the waste pipe must run down continuously to the drain. Extending the waste hose itself over the height of the washing machine would not be considered as acceptable practice as it may exceed the design capability of the pump in the washing machine.

You will have to achieve a fall of 1 in 40 for the water to drain properly.

You could probably get away with slightly less BUT if this cannot be achieved you will have to abandon your relocation unless of course you fancy getting the Kango out.

were is the soil stack in relation to the door and the washing machine.
