Following the re-tiling of the bathroom floor, I now have a height difference of around 20mm to the landing carpet (I haven't measured exactly, but certainly no less than 20mm.)

Any suggestion to how I could neatly join the two? Previously I was using a trim for different heights, but this only works when the hight difference is up to about 7mm.

The sub-floor is wood, if that makes a difference.

Cheers

You can get ramp edge plates in a variety of finishes...

pop into your local independant retailer (with measurements) and they will sort you out

I like to plane down a strip of hardwood against tiles, stops them chipping and can be made to measure.

You can buy various hardwood profiles from most floor retailers that will cope with 20mm height difference. Or... make one from a piece of 20mm flooring..
