My oven has stopped getting hot, it does seem to get a bit warm but nothing like it should. The thermostat seems to be clicking when it should so I suspect the heating element is at fault.

I've had a look for a spare but there is a huge variety of power outputs out there ... could anyone point me in the right direction? How do I get to this thing? From the front or the back?

edit to say it doesn't get warm at all!

If the thermostat light comes on the yes element has gone. Part number is cooo84399 cost £22.00. From hotpoint but u could get it cheaper eBay or goggle it. As for fitting remove trays from oven remove rear panel from inside oven element is at the back. If your stuck plenty of vids on you tube showing how to do it.
