Help Please....
I have a Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 WM62, it's no longer spinning.
The machine clicks on the programme and the washing machine starts to fill up with water, but does not spin.
I have emptied out the washing machine by selecting drain so the pump is fine and the drum moves freely in both directions.I have checked the bushes and tested the motor which spins when removed and connected directly to AC power.
I can hear the PCB board clicking and see a purple cog turning?
The belt is fine.
Any ideas shall I change the control board ? or Shall I give up and go to John Lewis and get a new machine ? my one is 11 years old
