Removal of UPVC plastic protection film

Hi,

I fitted some upvc fascia board as an alternative to MDF window board to a room about a year or two back. I've finially got round to finishing off the decorating and now i'm ready to remove the plastice film from the upvc fasic board... easy yeah (2 second job)...wrong.... It looks like the plastic film has degraded overtime and it only comes off in the smallest of pieces.

Has anybody got any ideas on how to remove/strip the protective film without damaging the upvc.

Not easy once it has baked on.

you could try a hot hairdryer, and a fair amount of patience.

yup baked on take your time ( grow your nails)
