Yale HSA 6400 Premium Alarm
(with a Door Contact and two PIRs)
I installed one of the above about 9 months ago and it worked fine for 6 months. A few months ago the Door Contact stopped responding on entry i.e. it did not trigger the alarm. Despite many attempts to re-install and re-configure I could only get it to respond temporarily before it failed again. It will acknowledge the “walk test” and possibly respond to the first entry but after that, nothing.
More recently one of the PIRs has developed the same behaviour and it is possible only to run the system now with just the one remaining PIR.
I have replaced all the batteries and tried deleting all the sensors before re-installing them, but have not been able to resolve the above. I tried installing a brand new PIR but no improvement.
I am left with the conclusion that the problem must be with the Control Pad ?
Would appreciate any feedback.
