cold bathroom radiator

help please? pipe is hot on feed to ordinary valve on left but cold under trv on right? radiator hardly any heat? is this a simple fix?

Remove the trv head and lightly tap the valve body and bounce it off of the pin on top might just be stuck down
 
thanks for quick reply, have tried that. no joy, can the trv be on the wrong side?

Not all Trv's are universal. does yours have a flow indicator arrow on it ?

A non universal TRV should be on the flow side

However unless the radiator is new this will not be your problem
