Hi all,

I'm just running wires for new lighting in my garage. The electrition is going to wire up but I want to get as much of the prep done as possible. So the garage has it's own CU installed and I known how to run wires for a loop in circuit when using ceiling roses with a switched live, but the strip lights don't have enough connectors to work be wired in this way. So question is what's the best way to wire. It's a simple single switch, cu and 3 strip light setup

Thanks
Alex

Either loop in at the switch or replace the connector block in one of the lights.

You need to ask your electrician what type of JB she wants you to use, and where to position them, and where and how to secure the cables etc, if she wants the circuit to loop at the lights and so on.

You'll be expecting her to sign it all off as her work, so only she can make all these design and installation decisions.

Do they have line, neutral and earth?
