Following elec cut have re booted alarm system and disconnected K1 to K4 and re connected etc...re boot again but stays on tamper . tried 0123 no joy tried existing own alarm password and it recognises this as it stopped going off after re booting asnd entering but wont go off tamper ?

This needs moving to the alarm forum.
Disconnecting K1-4 will not have any affect on rebooting.
You may need to reset the NVM, if the concept 6 has one: I can't remember... I last installed one in 1992.
The procedure depends upon the exact model you have.
However, if the (R)KP is operative, then I don't think the board has crashed.
Your tamper fault is likely due to a fault out in the wiring somewhere. Verify this by removing the TAMPER connections from the PCB and fitting links. When you refit the cover, does the system return to DAY mode or not? Don't forget the tamper connections for the external siren too.
