valliant pro 28 boiler

i have had a valliant pro 28 boiler for under 2 years, and the water switch has come off and it wont heat the water above 49 degrees does anyone know how to fix this?

are you getting a rise of 35c as this is all it will heat the incoming water by and especially this time of year. the mains water temp may be coming in lower.
 
IF you are saying the temp; dial on the from of the boiler has broken?

these dials are £8/£10 for the 3 ie; hot water/heating/on off dial,

the problem you may have is the spindle may be still in the PCB in that case you will have to remove the PCB to retrieve it :(

the temp for water is going up to 49 but not going past it so its not hot enough to wash dishes or have a bath and have to use kettles for the heat,

yes the dial came away in my hand when the pilot light went out had to turn dials to press flame button and came off itself, looked as tho it were coming loose, thanks to everyone who replied helped lots :)
