Hi,

We are currently re-decorating our bedroom and i am going to white gloss my window frame.

I took some of the frame off and had a look and noticed that i could see some day light peaking through.

Should i re-seal the outside and fill in the other internal gaps with expanding foam before fitted the frame back up?

Dampen the area with a spray bootle, apply foam filler. (don't over do it) Let foam dry (see can, normally over night) Replace frame. Don't forget to silicone seal the outside of the window.

nearly all done, filled in the gaps with the foam, the gaps were shocking, will need to at some point get new windows and repair the damaged areas around the widow as previous installation looks like they threw them up and thought forget about these massive gaps and loose rubble.

Got all the frame primed awaiting gloss, got my sealant ready for the the outside but is it ok to seal when the weather is so cold?
