After the central heating has been on for a while, when it clicks off there is a serge of water that goes up the vent pipe and into the F&E tank and it also makes a noise like air is bubbling in the system. The towel rail in the bathroom has to be bled regulary.
The boiler is a Glow Worm Miami it has got micro bore piping to rads. Boiler is 11yrs old. :?: :?: :?: :?:
It seems to be an S plan system

Has it always done this.If so, possible feed and expansion configuration wrong.

Hi fitz

Since the new boiler was fitted, Forgot to mention its a back boiler.
It had the same boiler before.

When you say configuration wrong do you mean the distance between feed and vent ?
Or do you think the pump is causing pos pressure causing it to push the water out ?
