SCANTRONIC 9651 EN

We are unsure of what terminals, in the above control panel, to connect the wires for the internal sounder we've bought to - it's an Elmdene 500 with strobe.

It has terminals: h- (black) h+ (red) -r (green) -st (white) - rtn (blue) (already wired)

We want it to beep when the alarm has been set and the final exit/entry zone is being walked across to exit and then to make an unbroken, continuous beep after the person has exited that zone (and the building) as the exit timer completes. We also want it to sound in the event of an alarm activation.

Can anyone help?

sorry that unit is an alarm siren only,
it cannot be used as an entry/exit / chime sounder

you need to geta 16 ohm extension speaker and connect it to the LS and + 12v terminals in the end station.

connections for your siren unit are shown in the installation manual.

do not connect the siren unit to the LS terminals you could do some damage to the electronics
