odour buster toilet fans any good?

I am thinking of buying an odourbuster toilet fan, they are expensive but i think my wife would be pleased if I fitted one.
Has anyone fitted one /have one are they worth it.

Better off spending the money on Colonic irrigation

then install a normal bathroom fan @ low level through the wall
