I have a leaking pipe in the void between my ground floor kitchen ceiling and 1st floor bathroom floor.
I've pulled way the plasterboard ceiling and there is a T-join that must have been disturbed during the bathroom refit.
There are 2 pipes, hot & cold, coming from the thermal store which come up through the bathroom floor to serve the bath.
Before they come up through the floor the T-join takes a supply off each to the bathroom basin. This is where a swan neck bend has been put in.
My pipe bending skills are ****e and this section would need to be removed to effect a repair. Due to the limited access to the pipes, would it be okay to replace a section of this pipe run with a flexible plastic pipe?
