Good Morning, myson apollo 40 si boiler not staying on

Hi all,

Some help would be appreciated.

Boiler fires up, then goes out, then fires up again, then goes out, etc etc. I can hear the gas solanoid opening and shutting.

before i did out the fault diagnosis sheets does any one have an opinion?

Could it be the air pressure switch opening and closing?

It could be that and many other things causing those symptoms.Should be easy for a good boiler man to trace and repair fault.It will require removal of front cover and accessing components inside combustion chamber.RGI work.

ok thanks.

im going to try fault finding on the ignition circuit first from the pcb up to the solenoid.

i'm assuming that if the solenoid has 240v across it and isnt working correctly then its faulty. If its something inbetween it should be easy to isolate the fault.

after that i'll be ringing a rgi.
