Hi all

Those who read the shocking experience will understand that the spark employed to wire the house wasn't the brightest.

Anyway he has left me with a real conundrum.

I have hall lighting on one ring controlling 12 mains voltage downlighters. the lights are switched from 3 switches. no probs so far you may think.

However the switch cable from junction runs from to the middle switch and then 4 core from their to the back door and then another to the front door. Clearly this makes it difficult to run the standard 2 way - int - 2way configuration.

Given that the spark is now released from duty is there anyway to complete this switching??

thanks

Connect a feed to a core to one of the three core and earths, wire that to com at one of the the two way switches, connect the return to one of the cores of the other three core and earths, the remaining cores are your strappers, two at each 2 eay switch for L1 and L2 and four at the intermediate switch.

Assuming the live and switched live are present at the intermediate switch, extend the live to down one 3c+e to one switch, and the switched live to t'other. Use the other two cores as the strappers via the intermediate switch.
