help with sky surround sound

Hi, I am having trouble with sound with sky being out of sync.Using plus, connectors not scart,jack connectors, expensive ones, terrestrial is ok.Not o/p.tried dolby/normal settings on the box.
I use dvd receiver too.
Any help would be very grateful

It's most likely your TV delaying the picture because of the video processing. Some Sky channels also have a picture to sound delay as well. Check your TV manual and see if there's an audio delay feature. Also have a look at the Sky set up menus under audio (or sound)... Sky HD has an audio delay feature, can't remember if Sky+ has it too.
