super glue on carpet

how do you get super glue off a 80% wool /20
nylon cream carpet i dropped the bottle while mending something ended up standing on the bottle while trying to keep my dog away from it so it's
now a right mess !!
can i clean it off myself , will i have to have it cleaned proffessinally or does it mean a NEW carpet ??

You can buy superglue remover.

Also from a mate of mine done this below,

Fill the glass/container half full with water
Add two tea-spoons of Sodium Bi-carbonate (be careful - this will fizz)
Add a little vinegar as to just start to change the colour of the water.
Apply to affected area.

Also I heard you can use nail vanish remover.

Having said all this,not sure if this above will damage your carpet unless you try it on a sample carpet first.
