Help!! ariston eurocombi (dont laugh)its fine on ch and hw

, as in hw is ok. If I try to run hw only it won`t work. Any easy fix? The missus is telling me we have to have a new one, help.

Could be extremely simple, like a small switch. Well worth repairing. If you read the manual you'll be able to find it and check it quite easily.

I dont normally make silly comments but I am inclined to ask if the "missus" is a gas boiler engineer?

If so why doesn't she tell her hubby that the diverter has failed.
