how to release water pressure from alpha 240e combi boiler

Hi

The needle on the system pressure gauge on my alpha 240e combi boiler has gone past the maximum setting which is coloured red and the pilot light cuts out. how do i release the pressure to get the gauge back to the correct setting. where do i find the valve to release the pressure on the boiler.

hope someone can help.
