Looking for some small LED downlights to be mounted in a wardrobe
want small overall diameter about 20-30 mm

The small LED units I have seen in the past have a real bright single lamp which is a bit to harsh, I am looking for a more diffused light .

A mr8 sized led lamp would be OK but the holders are all a bit big.

Any ideas where I can find such a thing

Thanks

Hope its ok to name a company (I have no affiliation with them, just use thier products a lot)

Try: www.cubelighting.com

I have fitted lots of the diode 90s (they are roughly the diameter you want) as down and up lighters. To be fair they are quite bright but you could use a non-constant current driver and limit the current or use a "dimmable" driver and dim it...

You almost certainly know this but don't try to limit the current of a constant current driver since it will just keep increasing its voltage output to maintain 350ma (or on some models 700ma)

All the bits you might need are on the site I listed.

Or the B&Q (tradepoint) sheds have small diamter LED kits with all the connectors/drivers etc......
