Boiler would not light for D.H.W. had the D.H.W.sensor changed and the hot water now works BUT at a high temperature . The D.H.W. temperature regulator knob has no effect what next could it be

Flow switch OK -both filter & cartridge OK Flow rate 2.5 litre/min +
Still wil not modulate

How about a partnumber to determine which one has been changed? Or a photo, or a description.
