Hi All

Bought a cheap Freeview Box from a superstore named 'Dion'. Box worked well for 3 to 4 months but now I get a very pixlated picture frequently when viewing any channel. if I connect the Aerial Cable directly to the TV no problems! Does this mean the Dion Box is faulty or is there another explanantion? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

could be atmospherics bad signal bad connection aerial moved

have a look in the tuning menu and do a retune looking for signal strength

Start with "Bought a cheap Freeview Box" and work from there

Not all freeview tuners are the same. Some are less sensitive than others. A £20'ish freeview box isn't going to have the best TV tuner in it, so if something has changed in your system (aerial alignment, water in cable, interference, new building in line of sight, or just the components wearing in) then the poorer tuner will be the first to show it.
