Hi,

My washing machine is cold water inlet only. I then have a spare red lead (hot water I presume) which is lay around uncapped underneath the units.

Problem is I think it is leaking, is it because the screw above it's connector under the sink was a bit loose?

Thanks

Matt

it`ll be the valve letting by a bit  . If it`s a normal washing machine valve on a copper pipe - you can remove it and fit a compression cap fitting in it`s place

either do as suggested here, or buy a 3/4" BSP cap and screw it onto the valve where the hose would have went, slightly easier for DIY'er
