well , sure if you want a paste that dries quickly you can get lincrusta but note that it is suitable for heavy wallpapers and it is ready mixed

If anyone has cooked rice before you will find that once you have boiled your rice, and strained the water that comes out of it, if you catch this water and leave it in a bowl for a while it looks very much like wallpaper paste, If you season the rice with salt its even better. It probably sticks better than wallpaper paste too!




Yes I used to drink this stuff as a kid.

Just use the rice - it makes a great anaglypta alternative - and no annoying seams stick down
