I just replaced my old dishwasher with a new one because it was leaving the dishes dirty. It seemed to be spraying them with food when doing the final rinse. The dishes were covered in small food particles. My brand new one is doing the same thing. Could that be because of the way my drain hose is. I did not loop it over the top of the dishwasher. Is it necessary to do that? Thanks

So what did you do with it ? You tell us what you haven't done and we are supposed to know what you have done from that !

If you are talking about fine, grit like residue on the things on the top basket, the most likely cause of this is down to blocked filters and not getting most of the food of the plates before chucking then in the machine!

Plus if he's 'chucking' them in the machine, its probably porcelain dust too.
