Hey all, This is a question for a friend of mine. They ran out of oil, had it refilled, but the pilot light is not on now. It is a Honeywell system with a Beckett AFG Burner I believe. I pressed the reset button which ran the boiler for about a minute and a half then tripped it again. Pressure is at about 15 psi and I can't figure out how or where to light the pilot manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated since the company will charge $100 an hour to come out.

Sounds like air in the oil supply pipe. Probably needs an engineer to sort it out.

NOT very clever to let the oil run out! There are low oil level warning alarms available.
