Help - Need new alarm but can't figure out sensors required

One supplier has told me that the Scan Homelink comes with an installation manual, so that make sit favourite at the moment.

As for programming, I expect using the panel is easy enough but it's also nice to sit down comfortably at the end of a long ethernet or usb lead and set the parameters on the screen. Depends where the panel is located I suppose.

What is it with programming with web based products?
All can be done at the keypad!
... and it usually takes longer by the time it has all been set up, learned and completed.

Err you sure?

All has to be tested after anyway.
If you know the system a RKP aint so bad.
I use either, or dial in and check on others. No big deal.
Many I know refuse to let the "engineer" programme, they let him set up and do it remote............bad practise IMHO.

Had it done to me once, UK flagship store 1000+ zones, "management" dialed in When I was away for a hour, teach them to mess about with 50 panic zones linked to ATM`s and other little suprises.
