With rerspect, OP, why waste your time? Your auntie has to have a Landlords Cert before she rents the place, and it may be the case that the fitter will condemn the cooker anyway. Either way, he should be able to identify the model and source the part. If he does condemn, the cost of the knob will be wasted.

The model no. and serial No. shoiud be on a data badge sometimes affixed to the bottom door, or very often on the rear of the cooker

Have a look on the back or lower drawer cavity (if it has one)

It's worth keeping the cooker going...most models today are pure junk...even Leisure managed to kill their customers a few years ago with their cheap imports

Raise the cooker...plenty of dunb a**e tenants that will happily burn the edge of the worktops.

Have it cleaned professionally too, its a cost that can be passed on to the tenant and means the unit will have the best chance of surviving. A clean can then be done on every tenant exit.

OvenU are very good, a little more expensive than others but ive found that its worth it as they take much more care. If you mention the missing knob they could probably get it in in advance and fit at the same time as the clean.
