tv interferance with sky when aerial plugged in

hi i have three tvs one in the front room and two in the bedrooms the main tv is where the sky box is then we have sky eyes on both tellys upstairs so we can watch sky we have just put a new tv aerial up on the side of the house so we can also watch freewiew but since we have pluged the aerial in we are getting interfrence on the tellys when watching sky the aerial and the sky is connected to the upstairs tellys via labgear hdu681 anyone have any idea why this is happening thanks

Unless you have changed it the Sky box transmits RF on Ch68, I would suggest that your new aerial is picking up a stray signal on this frequency, or close, that is giving the interference.

Try changing the Sky box RF out frequency to another channel. This will require a reune of your TV's.

What channel did you change the rf output to? If it was set to ch68 change it to ch21, ie a good change in frequency. Could also be poor quality coax with poor shielding. Try not to run any coax along the length of any electric cables, only run across them.

Are you shure that all the connection in the junction box are made correctly?
