Vent Axia extractor fan pull cord has broke. Help please!

The pull cord has broke off. After removing the grill, I cannot see where the cord had actually attached to.

Just hoped anyone out there knew if simply can feed it through little hole on the one the side of the control pack taking care not to break the casing off to tie and put a knot in the back.

Told to order a new part as not as simple as feeding cord through the hole in back. Involves taking apart casing and further feeding through the circuit board etc. Thanks anyways.

Please dont be put off coming back

Most people here like myself would not know how to refit the cord, as a lot of these fans are tricky to disasemble and without seeing the unit hard for us to say where it goes.

Sometimes unfortunately replacement is the answer.
