stiff pump head

I have drained the primary circuit, removed the electrical connections, plus the 4 allen screws but cannot shift the pump head. it seems stuck! Any tips. I have tried crack iot release spray, a drop of oil but the pump head remains stubborn!! it's in a worcester cdi! :cry:

as DM has said or tap a small slotted screwdriver at several points behind the head.

You will shift it eventually.

i got it off, decided to remove the whole pump, undone 1 union and when undoinbg the bottom union, the head came off!!! but the impeller was snapped off ! i guess it was stiff!

I always tap my penknife blade into the crack.
Grundfos shafts are ceramic, so yep, they break!
