Yes there are plenty.
What is a bit confusing is why it needs to call my mobile?

Only call a cheap mobile that you can afford to lose.

Suppose the phone is in the house when they break in. The alarm siren sounds so the thieves know they must grab what they can and run. The mobile phone starts to ring ( or bleeps "new text" ) and advertises it's location to the thieves.

Good for what ?

The ONLY advantage of wireless is not having to spend a few hours installing cables. There is NO other advantage unless you need to install alarms on items in the house that have to be mobile.

One big dis-advantage of wireless is having to reach the siren to re-place the batteries. The siren of course being placed where it is out of reach of criminals and so hard to reach.

BG, a few wireless systems can run a hard wired sounder.
Visonic for instance is wireless to sounder, with a transformer local to the sounder.
You could in theory do the same with any wireless sounder and use a spur or plug top at first floor level.

Have done so a few times.

Works well when you can put the panel high up, near front elevation.
Gives good reception all round the property and then the hard wire facility.
