sorry mate
bin that panel and get one that will work batter!
G2 12 would be ok,
and more reliable, wont have failed transformer!!!

I agree with oasis, get a new panel,
i would recommend either a galaxy or texecom veritas

also remember that if you buy a Galaxy G2 it does NOT come with engineer instructions.
as it is a pro panel Honeywell do not supply manuals for the panel,
(as we are expected to know what we are doing)

as we are an installer of Galaxy we have all the books an stuff to do them,

so go for a Veritas alarm, this will do the job and you get an engineers book with it.

but if you need a and or want a galaxy let me know we have spare G2 sat in stores (taken out in the last month as we had to upgrade it to a G3)

i actually went out to this site and sorted the job months ago, and it was a G2 with full wireless set up,
no external SAB just the usual Aunt Daisy bell cover,
system was all right, battery up to capacity all done and dusted,

going back to advise the cleint on some other things as well. sometime in the next week ish
