Door closer purchase advice sought

Okies, I've never fitted one of these, but I have a noisy machine room near my office & the door is constantly being left open.

The door is a simple glazed internal Wickes affair in an architraved frame, & wall is a plasterboard partition.

I want to fit a closer that will close it fairly gently, & not with a final bang. Also not sure if the plasterboard would create problems with movement in an overhead closer - I think it might.

Any recommendations?

Ah - I see they all have latch speed adjustment (I didnt know that).

He said Machine room. Suggests another door somewhere. A "perlo" type may not close correctly with a draft coming thru. And are a PITA to get working without slamming.
An ovehead one is far easier in this instance.
