Bosch Classixx Dishwasher only works on quick wash

I have a Bosch Classixx Dishwasher and it only works on Quick Wash or Pre Rinse. If I select any of the other wash programmes (Normal, Intensive etc.) then the 'Active' light just flashes and the machine won't start. Seems to be working fine but only on Quick Wash. Any ideas please?

As it seems then to fill, drain, wash and I presume heat on the quick wash it starts to lead to a PCB problem.

If you post the Model number and FD number along with how often the active light flashes (most error codes show as a series of flashing lights or pulses on a light)

We may be able to help further.

Hi, the model number is SGS53C02GB/08 and FD 8405

I made a mistake in the original post - It is the 'ON' light that is flashing about once every 3/4 of a second. When the door is open this light flashes when any of the programmes are selected (normal I assume?). When the door is shut, I get the same flash but on ECO, NORMAL & INTENSIVE only and it won't start.
On QUICK & PRE-RINSE the 'ON' light is lit and the machine will start.
