Hi There

We have klober dry verge on our house. Require to get one end of house renewed as bits fell off during the winter.

There are 24 plastic sections plus the cover at the apex of the house and I am going to get all these removed and replaced. Also 2 slates need mortar removed which was put in as a temporary repair when the verge/slate fell off in high winds.

How many hours do you think this job will take or a rough cost by a roofing company?

Many thanks for any thoughts.

The last time we did dry verge we quoted £6.50 a tile plus VAT. But we don't do them anymore. Oh and a tenner for the centre cap.

Thanks MW

Gives me a rough idea of price although I may need to get the lathe refitted as well. I have a funny feeling that the reason the dry verge felt out was because the wood was rotten.

Thanks
