wine stain on table

A dark wine stain on an antique pine table has resisted all efforts to remove it. Does anyone have any suggestions? icon_cry.gif

Red wine will "bleed" into Pine grain and stain the wood quite deeply.

Your only option may be to sand it back and then apply wax/varnish as appropriate.

A call to a good furniture restorer may provide other, less drastic, alternatives.
