I have just had this shower installed.

http://www.tritonshowers.co.uk/mixer-showers/unichrome-dart.aspx

Unfortunately because of the way the tiles and pipes are in my shower cubicle, it requires a "cover shroud" to cover the exposed pipes. The plumber said he will order the part and install as it all looks rather unsightly at the moment.

I have looked on the internet and can't seem to find this "cover shroud" he is referring to.

Do you know?

Who the f*ck fitted it like that ?

It's missing the mixer wall plate.

They come as chrome his fitted brass.
Why has he taken half the tiles of the wall ?
Looks like it's stuck to the wall with silicone.

A concealed valve fitted as exposed, maybe? Then again, a concealed valve should come with a shroud as standard.

Even this alleged counterboy could do better than that.
The whole thing will have to be removed to put the alleged shroud on the rear of the valve.

If it is an exposed valve it should not be 'sunk in' to the tiles as it is, certainly should not be mastic'ed like it appears to be, and would only need shrouds for the 2 inlet pipes which would conceal the brass nuts; if it's a concealed valve, almost all of what we see in your picture should be built-in to a void.

Roy Rogers Plumbing, by any chance? Yee haaa!

It says Triton on it. How old is it, it does not look like a current model.

Trimplate, about £30 on Triton's website.

They look like brass nuts to me - and did you not say "They come as chrome his fitted brass."?

It does not appear on their website looking like that. The closest is the Dart which is not identical. Similar, maybe.
Still sold today does not always mean up to date. Check out TK Maxx. Most of what they sell is last years styles.
Still sold...yes.
Up to date...???
