With the 6400 the siren will not bleep unless you set the panel to confirm beep on. Even then the fob will not deactivate the system and beep unless the entry door has been opened first.
And then you also need to have a fob that has been learnt into the system.

But without the use of a PIN or cancel code the loss of a key fob to a mugger or pickpocket has effectively made the alarm system in-effective if the criminal knows which street or area you live in. He or she simply walks along the street pressing the fob until they see an alarm box react. They now have your address and the means to enter without setting off the alarm.

In the case above or in the scenario of a lost keyfob even with the 6200 system the fix is easy.
- clear the system memory and relearn your devices into the system.

The system would then not respond to the stolen keyfob.

In the case of the 6400 even easier still just go to the devices menu and remove the fob from the system.

As mentioned previously the 6400 would not indicate the home the fob belonged to via the siren because the entry device has to be activated first.
