I will be very happy if anyone could help me with solutions to these questions:
#1.to calculate the electrical load of a designed house
#2.Criteria use to obtain the service/mains cable

Hi
Make a list of every piece of electrical equipment to be used in the house area and garden, supplied from the main box.
All Lights
Cooker
Water heater
Fridge
Tv
Etc etc
Then you have to apply the diversity factors.
You can find all gen in the IEE regs
Criteria on mains cable is
Length of run, amps, and permitted voltage drop for you area.
